Methods to Fix AirPods flashing white light
Close-open airpods case
The easiest and the basic way to fix the flashing white light issue in AirPods is to close the case and then open it after 20 seconds.
If your AirPods case is charged, follow the steps below.
- Unpair AirPods from its existing connections.
- Leave AirPods inside the case.
- Close the lid and then open it after 15-20 seconds.
- The white light automatically appears.
You can now take out AirPods from the case and then pair them with devices of your choice. As soon as you take them out, the white light disappears. Likewise, if you pair AirPods with some other device, the white light vanishes too.
Charge AirPods and case
If the previous method has not worked, the most common reason is that either AirPods or case or both are running out of charge.
- Charge the case first.
- Leave AirPods inside the case.
- As soon as it charges, you can pair it with another device.
For the longevity of your device, it is highly recommended to maintain at least half the battery level at all times so that the device works to your tune whenever needed.
Reset your device
If none of the above methods work, you should reset your device first. After resetting, you can try the first method.

- Unpair your AirPods from its existing connections.

- Wait up to 30 seconds.
- Open the case and then take out AirPods for a new connection.
